Ridiculous isn't that the very laws that are to protect us incriminate us.
Privacy laws are an American originated joke.
OFF COURSE SOCIETY DEMANDS CAMERAS IN AREAS OF BAGGAGE HANDLING.

The problem became so big that Australian Airlines conducted a sting, using hidden cameras on aircraft, to catch them. To a large extent, it worked. But in 2005, there are no cameras inside the luggage hold of planes; privacy laws prevent it."
