Tell me how owning 49% of a trust that earned 15.6 cents per share and that has a gearing of about 44% can't be better than the proposed amalgamation?
Am I missing something?
Pro forma FY12 EPS of the new entity = Underlying EPS 15.3 cents.
So Centro board expect me to:
- Lose the NTA of my shares by 4 plus cents.
- Lose the quantity of my shares by 5.8 times. 10 mill down to 1.7 million for example.
- Lose shareholding strength from 48% down to a minor 14%.
- Lose .3 cents EPS whilst CNP sucks more of my earnings with their 74% holding.
