Hi YAQ
If ESG were never going to commercialize their gas I gotta say that DC's statements in May 11 seem bravado at the very least and at the worst, well. Do I take him on face value on these words? If I do, ESG had lots of commercialisation options.
Re the auction, if there is only 1 bidder in the room it ain't no auction - it don't get sold unless the 'offer' meets the reserve price or they come back tomorrow and negotiate.
The 'NO' vote is about pressure which is an important ingredient in business negotiations - when the seller says 'ok' 5 seconds after the 'offer' is made we have a situation which is absent of the most basic business fundamentals.
I must say, even if I was going to vote YES (which I am not in the absence of a fair offer) I would be saying NO, NO & NO in order to build pressure and then if so desired, vote YES. It seems a very simple concept in the circumstances.
STO won't walk away but they will react to real pressure.
I might be off the hay-stack but I didn't come down with the last rain :)
It is about building pressure not releasing it.
the best to all
