I agree on the two cases being at opposite ends but the message is still the same, don't fornicate with the Indo system. It's corrupt and it's jails are more corrupt and filthy and a living hell.
All jokes aside, I realise he did a very stupid act but I don't agree about the 'do gooder' approach, that he's only 14 and everyone is entitled to a mistake etc. The best outcome from this is that is has scared the crap out of him and maybe he goes on to become a legal aid in foreign countries who have prats like him to be dealt with.
