You are wrong I am afraid.

The OW deal approved by shareholders needed to be done by October 6th. Clearly it wasnt.

Any new deal will need shareholder approval.

"However, any reconsideration of the placement price would, of course, fall
outside the approval by shareholders which lapsed on 6 October. " Clear and part of the announcement.

The announcement itself states that OW wanted a lower price.

"the Company has been dealing with a request from
Oceanwide in light of the circumstances existing, to reconsider the agreed price of the
placement." There it is clear as a bell.

The announcement states discussions have just commenced with a new group.

"The discussions with the new group having commenced in the past 7 days are
ongoing. "

Its very clear that this is NOT one of the previous groups from 6 weeks ago.

From what you have stated in your post, its very clear that you havent properly read the content of the announcement.

That approach doesnt help anyone with a better understanding. In fact it makes matters worse.
