Bob Carter holds the title of "adjunct" professor. Even though he sprays the "professor" title around, he does not have the academic status.
Emeritus Professor Garth Paltridge is a fair dinkum professor so Bolt at least got this one right. Paltridge had a long and distinguished career although his work on the entropy of atmospheric energy transfers may have come to its end. I would very much like to see what he had to say.
