re: don's ?? school uniform policy chaos No, no temper but passion.
Kids are very vulnerable as are people my age. We look after them because they can't look after themselves. We should take CARE for them, love them infinitely, make sure not a hair on their little heads gets hurt, be totally aloof and observant of every bit of contact they make.
I didn't intent to show anger; just that some things are very hard to spot, very hard to prove, very hard to fix yet they do happen. Trying to punish someone does not remedy the situation nor repair the damage. Call me overprotective and oversensitive but I'd rather err on that side than the she'll be right, mate.
And, when I see something of an unwelcome nature, I act gently, quietly but, I think effectively and bring only as many people into the scene as I can trust or are needed.
I'm thoroughly out of it now. Kids are no longer kids and are likely to bring me their own kids any day now. But that doesn't mean I've stopped worrying or thinking about them.
