What amuses me is all the motherhood stuff about creating green jobs, and unbridled wealth and happines for all non-taxpayers and greens.
Below is a FIVE year chart of Vestas, the premier world-leading wind turbine company. The same company that set up manufacture in Victoria in 2005, and closed it in 2007 with 130 jobs lost. They found it cheaper to import turbine blades, which they still do.
Who would invest in this company? You would have to be brave. The big money was made in 2008 and earlier by the smarties like Al Gore. A company with its price in such decline simply cannot raise capital. The only jobs created are in the new bureaucracy.
