This is the difficulty I find with buying into a resource stock. I have been caught out again. In the case of Perseus I could see they might need further funds but was reassured by the fact that they were now producing and would be receiving strong revenue from gold production.
Larger shareholders know that capital raising at CAD$3.25 is coming (as they amy have been approached to particpate or hear that others have been approached) so sell the stock down.
The announcement is dilutionary and Perseus will proabably trade at around the $CAD3.25 issue price up to the 2 Novembr isssue date.
