I am sure there will be a number of eager legal beagless rubbing their greedy hands together in a feeding frenzy, and encouraging those who have been molested to take legal action against the perpertrators of these monstrous atrocities. The fact that, as you declare,that 'But one thing the official Church is doing is trying to open up about it is now taking action', does NOT exonerate it from its sins of the past committed against innocent children.
The Church is supposed to protect childre not molest them. Maybe these priests misinterpreted the words of Jesus when he said:
