I don't think Wellington has anything to do with it as it is already on the gas pipeline.
I think they want something to do with Mel's power station and may in fact want to build a much bigger one than Mel has planned.
If the Lions Way pipeline is built then Mel can supply their QLD power station in Oakey. They have a power supply agreement with AGL which runs out end 2014.
