for what its worth, here's my conclusion;

Metal Storm and Colt will announce an exclusive worldwide licensing and distribution agreement for maul. This will consist of an initial fee and then ongoing royalties for each maul and maul ammo sale.

For example;

Initial fee $20mil
Royalty fee 5% of Colt maul and ammo revenue going forward

Colt has a worldwide distribution network in place.

Metal Storm can now focus on Navy Firestorm MPM and Army Firestorm FP.
