re:strong rumours wmc..rio bid by monday With the RIO's share price underpinned by the strong buyback and the good overnight numbers from the US supporting commodities the time is just right for RIO to launch a cash and script bid for WMR...
The bid will be around $8.60 to allow for some pullback in Rio's SP post bid. I doubt RIO will counterbid..they will either get RIO at a good price(..better synergies than BHP) or they will make BHP pay more!
I hold 75,000 WMR
