Plough and others,
I feel the future for the company was written (as below) in the guts of the FY Director's Report.
CKK IMO from what I read, want the GT5000 up and running and contracted out. CLRS to progress to marketable item and which it appears to be doing so. But the icing on the cake for me is the bit that says, "whist continuing to manufacture a fleet of ever improving rigs."
I have not been keen on just how the company has managed its release of news to shareholders in the past but that aside it would appear to me to be heading in the right direction.
Naturally we would all like the shareprice to be much higher than it is, but in the current enconomic market, it is not the only share that has taken a hammering.
IMO, if you have the dollars to purchase more shares at these prices then do so. The product itself will be an eventual winner for all.
Good luck to all long term holders
"A lot of well funded oil and gas organisations are currently seeking to implement multi- million dollar drilling programs in the next two years and our challenge as an organisation is to secure our share of that work for our GT3000 drill rig and to also lock down work for the future GT5000 rig.
Our vision is to see the Company constantly locking down oil/gas/geothermal and other deep hole drilling contracts whist continuing to manufacture a fleet of ever improving rigs.
This business model has been tried and tested by a number of large cap mineral drilling companies in the shallow hole market and we are seeking to emulate that success in the more lucrative deep hole oil and gas type market.
Importantly, the Company is now also on the verge of commercialising its second proprietary product, the CLRS, having received good results from an infield trial at a Woodside offshore well.
In a world first, the CLRS recently managed to successfully deliver a signal to the surface from 4kms deep in an offshore well, outlining the level of core intake into the core barrel and potentially solving a multimillion dollar problem that has existed for many years in the oil and gas industry."
