Hypothetically speaking, what would prevent the Traditional Owners (TO) from doing a deal on rehabilitation whereby the earmarked $550 million (and possibly up to $750 million) would not need to be spent providing a large portion of it was given over as cash? Would the TO consider a cessation of mining as the profitable option for themselves?
