    It sounds like the Uranium debate. All sounds good, BUT, not in my backyard.

    Living in a pristine rural environment, I would detest having my landscape littered with wells, and the damage caused by constant heavy equipment causing compaction and erosion. I would also destest having a wind farm near me, and that conctant vroom vroom noise in the background. Studies have shown that populations living near wind farms end up with more health issues.

    A simpler issue is UCG which occurs well below the water table, does not require the fracking of CSG and chemicals, returns a greater % of gas, would reduce carbon emmissions by 30%m, and has very little impact on the surface.
