Writer, fair comments. As you've often said, everyone is entitled to their own opinion and should be treated with respect. And I respect your rebuttal.

You're right, I did make those comments after the briefing but my post today does not contradict the earlier one. Then, I did complement the company on it's achievements and stated that the outlook is seemingly very rosy. Said that again this morning. Nothing has changed for me there.

Surely I can make those comments but then subsequently raise the issue of compensation. Maybe it's just a matter of degree. You are obviously comfortable with the level of compensation paid (and being proposed) to Alan. I'm not and it would appear that some other posters agree with me. That doesn't mean that I think he is doing a terrible job or that things have turned upside down (in a matter of weeks!).

No, it simply means that we need to get better alignment between what we are looking to offer in compensation and the results achieved to date and likely to be achieved over the next 12 months, two years and beyond. I take your point about the options but I would suggest that in the overall scheme of things, that is still a generous offer.

I look forward to the company achieving great things but like everyone else, we should be asking questions along the way.

    oaky
