    That's a fair assessment cab and I can see the problem you mean, I think though, and this is just the ramblings of an ignorant, that the lack of faith in fiat currencies since 2008 has mostly led to an inflation of precious metals and not base metals - or at least no to the same degree. Base metals, IMHO have more closely tracked bulks in the last few years as a result of demand, more so than precious metals so I think that risk-on for me means a bigger appetite for the global community to beleive that the underlying demand for commodities is still there. Thats's the hope anyway - I hadn't looked at it the same as you and it could play out that way. Perhaps I'm seeing what I want to see!
    Any way as for the latest VMS trading I think it looks encouraging - volumes today were good and I'm still a beleiver ...
