I cannot see any changes to the QLD grants.....this is from their web site... ......................................... You may be eligible for the grant if … You are:
•at least 18 years of age •not a company or a person acting as a trustee •an Australian citizen or a permanent resident (or a joint applicant with someone who is an Australian citizen or permanent resident) •buying or building a home worth less than $1M (from 1 January 2010 to 30 March 2010) •buying or building a home worth less than $750,000 (on or after 31 March 2010). http://www.osr.qld.gov.au/first-home-owner-grant/eligibility-fhog/index.shtml
