The obvious point of annoyance and it is fact. There are many large banks/corporations that have and are reaping the benefits of their greed/stupidity when totally in the wrong by governments using the general community's funds to bail them out or support institutions they have dealings with.
Instead of a remnant of thanks or remorse the same all pervasive self-interest remains.
