Little doubt it is Statutory Rape , and it is completely unfair that Men and Women are being treated differently ..Yes , The Law is the Law .

But , in honesty Im not so sure about the actual law ..I saw a case where a young Boy 17 ( I think ) when the relationship began , his girlfriend was 14 years , when he turned 18 and she was 15 , the mother found out ( of the girl ) and had him charged as a Sex Offender ..this seems beyond the ridiculous to me .

I was seduced personally by a woman much older when I was about to turn 16 .. at the time as other posters have expressed I thought it was wonderful , and the relationship carried on .. It wasn't until many years later that I questioned the decision .. But I questioned my own decision , not the female involved , she didnt Force herself on me .

All these laws have many areas of " Grey " , and I can just picture the situation with this girl , who is only a kid herself . Agree it should be same for man and woman ..But really , some of these laws are questionable ..and I think the verdict says that .
