I agree with you Chawkey, not that that makes it any more likely to happen.
In other news, I heard on the ABC radio news although I missed whose report it was (I was driving), it was thought that (to paraphrase) Australia's mining/resources boom would continue for another 5 years (I think it was) at least, but, again paraphrasing, Australians were too stupid to take full advantage of it. And yes, I know that ORD's big play is not in Australia.
In the meantime, the SP doesn't seem to have been done any harm by the latest announcement. Up 2.4 cents, a further .6 of which is since I started writing this post.
