It is a good question "is it a trade or an investment?" and I do think that I should answer it. My personel circumstances at this time are such that it is likely to be a trade for me. My partner and I have just broken up, I actually signed up to buy a duplex yesterday so that I can move out in a month. As a consequence of this my investing at the moment is being dictated considerably by these circumstances rather than my usual approach. I would say that if this wasn't happening I would love to be in there now trying to boost the support for this stock as I did for PPX and API but I can't. For me the timing of this was extremely bad but I could not resist having another go after seeing what happened with those other two stocks.
Normally I don't really make a choice between trading and investing. I buy them when I think the value is there and sell them when I find something else I like better or if I change my view. Sometimes I hold stocks for ten years, at other times for a couple of days. But I do buy generally with a long term hold in mind.
