Lapdog I'm not saying the problem doesn't exist, and I'm not saying that something shouldn't be done to help people addicted to poker machines.

But using your brother in laws community as an example, I don't believe the answer is to restrict 1200 people to suit the 6 people addicted.

1,194 people shouldn't suffer restriction because of 6 people.

The clubs get revenue through poker machines, but then they give a lot back to the community by sponsoring kids sports, community events etc.

Why should a whole community suffer unwanted regulation, as well as diminished donations from clubs, just because 6 people have a problem?
