If, for instance, you recieved obviously corrupt volume or even No Volume at all, for a particular bar (for whatever reason).
Your analysis would not go "completely down the drain"
The spread (or range) and the close, would still be there, so some assumptions could still be made.
You need to question each & every bar.
With VSA we also often need confirmation of a principle, usually with the next bar, so if you didnt have any volume at all on a particular bar, within another bar or two, you would be back on track, as the next couple of bars would then give you some context to the bar whose volume was missing or obviously corrupt.
