So in the context of a bigger picture ... the markets need liquidity, China needs the markets, so China provides liquidity.
Then ... market growth needs consumption, consumption needs resources, resources need the market.
Then ... the environment needs less consumption, less consumption needs less population, less population needs less environment.
Which of these three do you think really matter?
My belief is we're seeing a change in the environment that will eventually dictate everything else. (Earthquakes, tsunami's, floods ... wouldn't matter as much if the world was less populated - but ???)
