I don't agree with Poker Machines full stop, ban the lot of them as far as I am concerned. Clubs will find new ways to raise funds.
I remember going back into the 80's when I used to take my kids to the local circus when it came to the area, crowds were quite good, everybody enjoyed themselves.

In the 90's my business got me involved in side show alley businessmen who were finding business getting doubly hard and businesses failing and winding up.
They were then blaming Poker Machines as Mum & dad or Grandma & Grandpa didn't have the money now to take kids to the circus or to the shows and spend a few bob on the rides and sideshows. They had spent it on dopey Poker machines.
Pokies are a disease, they should be limited or banned, I applaud WA's stance.

Interestingly, who legalised Poker Machines in 1956, the first state to do so, NSW under a Labor Government. In 1990 who legalised Poker Machines in Qld, a Labor Government, after previous Qld Governments refused to legalise them.
Why, money, money money as always, the Labor Governments looking for more ways to milk the taxpayer out of extra dough to fund their own selfish socialistic ends and destroy small business.
The Governments extract huge dollars from the Poker machines every year, they don't want to end that cash cow or they will have to dream up another tax...
