Perhaps we are of the same vintage; I can't resist being drawn into the arguments of the testosterone crowd. It is amazing how the chemical make up of the human physiology changes as we age and controls our thoughts and opinions. We would all be so much wealthier if we were able to control our emotions in our younger days but of course we would not have had so much fun. Having arrived in OZ in 1965 as a ten pound migrant, I feel I have seen much of the changes that have occured, some good, some bad, over the years. The biggest changes are happening now and most of us do not realise it. The attention of the world is swinging to Asia and we are getting caught up in the draught. We are not equipped to cope with the new wealth but it will be fun to learn how to deal with a bulging wallet. I only hope that our youth throw away the prejudices that they have inherited from their parents and accept all the new arrivals for what they are and not their race or colour. Many of our new inhabitants are highly skilled and some likely to be operating on you to keep you alive. Have a good one.
