Don't Qantas employees and union reps read??

Traditional airlines have been going bankrupt for a decade or more, the exceptions being those domiciled in countries with affordable labour.

Everyone expects the impossible from Qantas ... wages going north and fares going south.

Harsh ation from Joyce, but I think he has his back to the wall. If he gives in it will be the death of Qantas over the next few years.

No commonsense or national goodwill is being displayed by the striking employees and their unions imo.
