Bad argument. Have a look at your appliances and tools from these 'competitive' manufacturers. QANTAS is slipping in service and maintenance. The maintenance is evident with more close calls than any flyer would welcome.
If QAN pays cabin crew Thai wages and wants to out source other work overseas then rightfully they can not expect Australians to pay Australian top dollar for flights. And isn't great that that exuberant $24/hr labour rate is paid so us suckers can still pay for these marked up flights.
QAN is getting it's arse kicked all the way to VBA's tarmac. It's another great Aust company going down the wrong runway.
