I know this from personal experience. When the sun goes down I notice long periods when I am light headed.
Previously i had this down as a direct chemical effect, but now understand it is an indirect solar one, caused by the gravity force of my head (which all would know is mostly bone so very dense and affected by gravity) being reduced with the reduced sunlight.
