"is 12.5 cents still a cheap buy ? Or have I missed the boat on this one ?"

    raffintoy,

imo, 12.5 is a good buy.

i'm quite sure that many on this board at one stage or another have bought in at 12.5c or higher and are still holding their position.

I'm also sure that many of us bought in at the 6-7c range. Whether it was new shareholders or, like me, people averaging down, this was also a popular decision. However, even though I'm happy to have re-purchased at 7c, I find it unfortunate we had to go that far down to the macro. The market got hit, Europe and America were not looking good and a lot of stocks got hit hard.

Why avb was a good decision to buy at the ~7c levels was because it was one of the stocks with the greatest potential to rise back up. Evidently, it has done well in kicking back so far. But imo there is far to go. There is still much unaccounted potential and I believe we will see a lot in the next few months, heading into the new year and also early 2012.

Many drills are still in the lab and the JORC which is expected to "rerate" avb is expected March-April next year. With 12.5c, there will be a lot of upside. Unfortunately nothing is gauranteed, but to me, avb is a much "safer" stock than many other non-speculative stocks. It has capital, phenoemnal drill results and the attention of some many big mining companies. It could and may go down in the short term, but it's not a risk I would be willing to take, and ultimately, in a few months time, we will be seeing new highs.

Make your decision carefully. Take in all information. I'm merely a youngster with a large HECS debt. That is my priority atm. After having read a lot of information on avb, on these boards, within announcements, in magazines and by consulting other professional business friends I have, avb has proven to be one the most "potentially" promising stocks I know of.

If there's any concrete advice I should give which you should follow without consulting further research is, don't put all your eggs in avb. Something can always go wrong. Find another stock worth going for too. But also believe in avb, just like I do :)
