Federal Deputy Opposition Leader Julie Bishop says Kevin Rudd did himself no favours when he entertained a crowd at a concert in Perth.
"When Kevin Rudd did his Bon Jovi Living on a Prayer imitation, 4500 people were instantly reminded of why they always thought Rudd was a tosser," she told coalition MPs during a joint parties meeting in Canberra on Tuesday.
The foreign minister, who was recovering from a cold, addressed the crowd at the End of Polio music concert while attending the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting on Friday.
He delivered a five-minute speech punctuated with bouts of coughing and frequent breaks in his voice.
"Do you support getting rid of polio from planet Earth?" he yelled to cheers.
"Do you want to make a difference?
"Can you bring my voice back?"
When the crowd called on Mr Rudd to sing he responded: "I sing like a cow."
