guttergripper, ok, this might sound a bit crazy, but my strategy is that I don't read company announcements, I don't care which research house puts out what price target on a stock, I don't pay attention to others' opinion on the stock that I am trading and I don't try to project price targets. ....why? because I want to AVOID making the slightest assumption or forming an opinion(either +ve or -ve) which would potentially against the real action of a stock that is currently unfolding.
Price and volume, this is the voice of Mr market. Pay close attention to what the market says, instead of listening to what others say about the market.
Have a look at the arrows on the chart below and you should be able to tell whether I am currently sitting on the long or short side of the fence.
