I'd normally agree with that statement, but how is paying 50 cents for a garment helping poor workers when we turn around and sell it here for 49.95 because it has some rock star printed on it? I'd like to see a more balanced approach with real 'free trade' implemented by paying more to hard working nations and reducing profits for greedy western companies. Which local clothing retailer said it will reduce payments by 5% to its wholesalers for their goods? And is that 5% saving passed onto the consumer? Talk about ripping off those who cannot afford to take loss. Absolutely shameful!
