so if I bought today @ $6.73 & the deal goes thru @ c$8.00 @ an approx ex rate of a$1.05 or $8.40 I walk away before tax & bank charges with a profit of 25%.
If the deal falls over sp may return to the $7+ area before bid was announced hence a lower profit or I hold for a higher takeover bid or wishfull thinking copper prices increase to values that took the sp to $20. I once followed this stock when it traded in single digits yes less than .10c. While i hate to see the chinese pick up our assets for nix as a trader seeking a profit the answer is simple - if the market creates a profit - dont get too attached as it could be worse you could have a loss!
