I'm expecting fundamentals to drive the chart. If good results come from Defender and/or SoA then I'm expecting some excitement and accumulation in anticipation of the next bunch of wells.
Oil is trending back up so more oil will and a higher POO will translate to buying of oil stocks like SSN, NEN etc. Too many people still sitting on the side lines avoiding risky assets at the moment. Seems that a few xmas drinks makes them wonder how the hell they are going to make a profit with no skin in the game. January sees a change of heart. Could come earlier this year but all depends on drilling results. If the frac goes to plan we should know in coming weeks.
No point guessing prices though. That is completely dependant upon how many people charge back in and how many are silly enough to bid the price up above the support level. I suspect however that the support level will be conssiderably higher than it is now.
