hi damonomad,
I also live about 10min from Barrington - Wilmot side - amazing eh?
They have probably been watching the lake a bit closer lately - one of our workers told me that someone had their boat and car and gear confiscated very recently for taking a large amount of Atlantics ------ I thought they might have meant a recent confiscation that happened at Arthurs - but they assure me it was Barrington.
I went down to launch at the wilmot ramp about a week ago to find the water had basically gone down the plughole - I went on the very morning that a work crew arrived to do some repairs/upgrades to the ramp and hydro have lowered the level - bugger. You- could have still got a small boat in, but it wasn't deep enough at the bottom of the ramp to get my motor down, nor was the angle steep enough for me to push the boat off - have to wait a couple of weeks.
send me an email if you are interested in catching up - there are a couple of us nearby.
I am going to Pt. Sorell in the am early if it is calm - tues. and wed. look better wind wise but it looks like rain then so I will have a go in the am if possible. I got there the other morning and it was blowing like a bugger - pity, I am sure there were some big flathead just sitting off Bakers waiting for me :)

have a great night
