If they can't drum up any positive news in the next month to get the options into the money (17.5cents) then yeah that looks the likely outcome.
I was into DMA a year back purely on a strategic play that Atlas would buy them out..... but Atlas went with GIR so I sold out..... and then Atlas went with Ferrus proving their interests lie in high grade deposits - for now.
DMA is cheap as p8ss but it's a lot further away from the port and the grades aren't high enough. I thought Atlas would buy them on proximity terms to their tenements, but they haven't shown interest yet.
With the I/O price taking a hammering and the darker clouds starting to form around China.... you've gotta wonder which of the smaller Pilbara players will still be around in 2 years time.... if you aren't on a "timeline to production" by now.... far chance you missed the boat.
Are DMA's in house management issues sorted yet?
