re: News: C@ to raise $28m to fund exploratio... Has anyone given any consideration to the thought that the share price was intentinally allowed to wane to get insto's on board?

A few years ago another company was keen to go on a big acquisition spree. At one stage their share price had topped $1. It then fell steadilly for over a year and went right back to its issue price of 20 cents, when a 3 for 1 rights issue went ahead.

We later found out that the insto's would not pay any more than 20c to come on board and that was the best way to get support for the company.

Anyone else think we could be in a similar situation here?
