That's odd -- not two months ago other vested interests were predicting shortages. Not of Boeing 747-400s you understand (so Qantas will be OK, at least in that regard), but aluminium, of which aeroplanes must be one of the most minimal usages. But 10,000 sounds a lot. Do you know how much they weigh? (I do.) And how much of that is aluminium? (I don't know that, but there is much that isn't.)

Who to believe? Better stock up on your Coke and Pepsi whilst you are still able, otherwise it'll be the plastic bottles.
