It is amazing how the human ego, in this instance those of certain European politicians, can cause havoc, and then acquiesce, or squabble for political advantage, as the system cracks and begins to fall apart around them.
It is just another cycle at the end of the day. We build it up, only to bring it all down.
Humans are a self-defeating phenomena in many respects.
