My opinion......Not only have we just had a GFC that is still rumbling with smaller aftershocks.....we have the Establishment.....brokers,media,analysts and the like paying scant attention to the RAPIDLY growing new economies......take Greece for example....Tukey is twice the size and regarded as a Tiger economy.....yet not a word mentioned......well 'cept for earthquakes.Likewise India,with a GDP just below Italy,growing 7-12%(who knows exactly) and not a word mentioned.My anecdotal news gathering has also shown me something else that I think is big.....and that is......there seeems to be a major shift away from the banking/finance/investment business.....all paper shuffling businesses that became overbloated over the last 20 years......to the manufacturing/building/maintainence(include power and transport)industries....the busisnesses that actually DO stuff.................hence the analysts/commentaters getting it wrong...........they are not ahead of the 8 ball.....
