I am as frustrated as you but the moment you announce you believe it is manipulation - you will get two answers.
1) You cannot prove and you are paranoid and silly.
2) It is algorithmic trading or you are seeing parcel orders.
However I want to mention that there were a set of algorithms working yesterday. One buying the other selling. That was the cause of the volatility thougn minor movements not enough to play the game.
