petercog,

"I also have a philosophical dislike of anyone who try's to profit from a falling market and those who do generally attempt to influence it's downward trajectory. Everybody wins in a rising market, only bottom feeders win in a falling market".
So going by your theory the market should only rise as that way everyone can continue to win? I suggest to you it's not the 'bottom feeders' that profit from a falling market, but the people who have taken the time to get educated and have a plan and a strategy in place. To call us "bottom feeders" is to denigrate the hours of study and planning that have taken place so we can move with confidence once we see the signs.
And before you ask. No bought position right now- Choosing not to trade and sit in cash for the time being - that's my position. But if I wanted to make money in a down trending market I could and would - the market has no feelings for me to hurt!
