Domba - I just found out what I am - "A Range Trader"
No sarcasm, just haven't heard that term.
I buy stocks at a price that I'm prepared to keep if there is a downturn, and sell when they gain 2-5%. Sometimes takes 4 weeks, sometimes 40 minutes.
Need money at hand to do it - $50k for a $1k+ gain but seems to work.
Favourite stocks to "range trade" atm are FMG, AGO, PRU.
Bought FMG today at open at $4.75, sell order set at $4.99, come Monday should get hit, the same $50k should make $1k per week (I hope)
It's been workin OK, just wondering how many other traders play this way? and what other stocks do you range traders work on?
