That's what I like about this GCN forum, there's some smart guys like grudgy on here from whom I can learn. I actually mean this, I'm not being cynical. For example, it would never have crossed my mind to compare GCN, a company that over 10+ years has accumulated losses of well over $40 million, with Microsoft or Apple, both having been profitable pretty much from the outset and both having a market cap of over one billion$ after 10 years if my memory serve me right. But I'll need a little more coaching to see the relevance of the Google comparison. I'm also still puzzling over how I can have both "hit on some very important facts" and simultaneously "overlooked them", I'm just slow, I guess.
I don't think there is any question about the future of IPTV, or the potential of business in China, the serious doubts are about GCN's ability to actually get anything up and running successfully, particularly in China where there are many aggressive, well-funded, already deeply-entrenched competitors. But maybe I just need to get the blinkers off and stop seeing GCN's 10+ years of failures here and in China as an indication of likely future performance.
Oh, and grumpy, what makes you think I missed the "B"?
