The significance of this article is huge, IMO, given that both JB & DT have mentioned the possibility of CCC entering into JV with Glencore, especially as Koornfontein has spare processing capacity & is relatively close to Dewittekrans. Don't forget that Don Turvey was heavily involved in building & operating Koornfontein with BHP. The other important consideration is that Glencore's expanding interest in SA coal shows that they are not concerned about the apparent nationalization risk. Also, this will certainly raise the profile of Conti's Mpumalanga operations & projects.
