OK - I thought I would risk a small digression. How many of you blokes saw the excellent BBC documentary on ABC-1 tonight called 'Targeting Bin Laden'? This was a stunning presentation 1.5hrs long - cutting edge editing and involvement on camera of most everyone from Obama down. Frankly it was edge of the seat stuff, I kid you not. The patience in monitoring thousands of phone calls from known operatives for 10 years until they got the tiny breakthrough that led to the whole thing unfolding was pretty impressive. The film also created a very real sense of the professionalism of the Navy Seals. It was interesting how they (unsurprisingly) had to use doorbusting techniques to get into the building - pity they didn't have any Mauls, huh? Don't know if it will be repeated on ABC24 - but otherwise maybe look out for it on line.....you will not be disappointed.
