..You are right, the so called "blue chips" that all the fund managers are telling everyone to stick to,( i wonder if its coz they have an interest in promoting blue chips for every mum and dad super accounts),well these ones are the fastest to fall in a crisis...
..example...i remember picking up ANZ Bank at $12.50during the last GFC and gee you couldnt sell the thing higher than that and it fell from 25 bucks to just under 12 during that time..
...Luckily i managed to hold on and put them away in the bottom drawer...
...Its all about timing...
